She is here! She is definitely a "Tallulah"...or "Lulah" as she likes to be called. We have had the most fun this evening getting to know her. Fun stuff... Here are some pics...
We don't know but she'll be here on MONDAY at 6PM. It's been a while since we've had a pup around. These pictures are from her stay in the foster house before we get her.
We could! And it could be this cute little puppy from Athens Canine Rescue. If you have any fun name suggestions - please let us know. I'll pick her up on Monday for a 2 week visit with us... very exciting! She is 6 weeks old and is a lab/spaniel mix.
We had a great time with our Aunt Shirley, Uncle Arnold, Stacey, Jason and Silas in the mountians. As soon as the mountain air hit us - all our worries melted. Even after sitting in traffic for 2 hours! It's the only Nut House where you leave with more sanity than you came with! We didn't do much but eat, drink, sing and dance - the usual. We did go to the Folk Art Museum on Sunday before going home and some pictures of the art, pottery and quilts are here.
Jim is just trying to watch some soccer in btwn appointments but I'm too proud! He was named Employee of the Month at the Foundry today. Here - Employee of the Month Jim Cheney proudly displays his pin bestowed to him at lunch.
This was Ben's bday weekend. Lizzie and Ian are getting so big! We had a great time and even better food prepared by Jon (Ben's brother who is a chef)! Jim and Lizzie got some dance time in and the boys played some music...
Jim played downtown last night with Jason Harwell (jasonharwell.com). Jason is a singer/songwriter in Athens who we are big fans of!! Music is coming back into the fold for Jim down here which is great. These pictures aren't the best.... Next weekend we're going to Asheville to hang with Stacey, Jason and Silas on the tail-end of their week long family vacation. We're super excited because we need a BREAK! I'll no doubt have pictures to update next week!!
